Imaging intramolecular energy transfer in conjugated polymers by single chain spectroscopy

Abstract

We report on the time resolved polarized emission from individual conjugated polymer chains as a function of temperature. Besides observing intrachain energy transfer in real time, we can also infer dephasing times from homogeneous linewidths.
