Collisions of two-dimensional quadratic solitons in type I non-critically phase matched KNbO3

Abstract

We experimentally investigated planar two soliton collisions in type I non-critically phase matched KNbO3. Phase dependent energy exchange processes were shown for nearly collinear beams. A particular case of collided beams showed a three-soliton output.
