Nonequilibrium Characteristics of Excitonic Luminescence

Abstract

For low enough temperatures and densities, luminescence spectra of semiconductor quantum wells may show several emission resonances which roughly coincide with the energies of the exciton Rydberg series; in GaAs systems, upto two resonances have been observed.1
