Abstract

Plasmon oscillations supported by nanostructurcd metal thin films with fractal morphology can concentrate very intense electromagnetic excitations over nanometer sized areas. The resulting localized optical exaltations open a wide range of perspectives from molecular spectroscopy to the use of nanostructured materials in photonic devices.
