Abstract

Although the study of the ultrafast dynamics of electron interaction and thermalization are of primary importance in understanding fundamental and technological properties of materials, these dynamics have never been able to be resolved in the high electron temperature (Te) regime (e.g. ~ 1 eV) in metals.
