Abstract
The knowledge oi crystallographic and mag netic symmetry is an important prerequisite for evaluation of electronic, photonic, and magnetic properties of matter. We show that nonlinear optical spectroscopy may serve as an efficient tool to study magnetic structure of crystals. Experimental data on bulk crystals and thin films are discussed.
