Abstract

Historically, to make absolute optical frequency measurements referenced to the microwave cesium SI Standard, a complex series of phase coherent oscillators, frequency combs, and/or optical bisections were required to bridge the frequency gap between the 9.192631770 GHz Cs Standard and optical frequencies in the range of 300-500 THz
