Abstract
We have a class C laser operating beyond the second threshold in the bad cavity case. This allows us to generate autonomous chaos where no modulation of any parameter is required. This type of system has been extensively studied both numerically and experimentally. However, less investigation has been made on autonomous systems where one of the parameters of the dynamical system becomes time dependent, in particular the effect of modulating a class C laser.
