Diffusion and pseudo-phase-conjugation effects in a scattering laser-related material

Abstract

An experimental observation of coherent backscattering of light was first reported in Refs. 1 and 2. Experimentally, this interference effect manifests itself as an enhancement of the intensity of the scattered light in a small solid angle about the direction of exact backscattering.
