Abstract
The interaction between bright solitons was predicted in optical fibers within the context of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NLSE).1 The magnitude of this interaction depends on physical parameters, such as the time delay between the solitons or their relative amplitudes and widths. In the spatial domain, the interaction between optical solitons has also been observed in Kerr-type media.2
