Abstract

The few dozen ~ 100-em⁻¹-wide emission bands that dominate archived VUV spectra of B-type supergiant stars in the range 900-1200 Å are reasonably assigned as fourth legs of H₂ four-wave parametric oscillation (FWPO) processes occurring in clouds near the stars.
