Abstract

Conjugated polymers have been used successfully for the fabrication of light-emitting devices (LEDs). Additionally, highly efficient photodetectors based on the same class of materials have been demonstrated. For a further optimization and a deeper understanding, the charged and neutral quasiparticles in such devices have to be identified and their dynamical properties have to be studied in detail.
