Abstract
Quantum degenerate states of excitonic particles will reveal a new aspect of light- matter interaction. Recent progress in spectroscopic techniques enables us to examine population distribution of excitons accurately. Several experimental findings that present the characteristic change of the distribution function of excitons at high- density excitation have been reported. Anomalous transportation of excitons, which implies the superfluidity of excitons, is observed in Cu4O.1 For the next step in revealing the nature of the quantum degenerate states, we need to assess the phase coherence of excited particles.
