Abstract
The series of experiments with microspheres conducted by various research groups have revealed the peculiar features of nonlinear optics. These include multiorder stimulated Raman scattering, four-wave mixing, and lasing. The results of experiments exhibited a disagreement with prevailing one-dimensional approaches. In present studies, the general three-dimensional approach is constructed in order to explain the results of experiments and predict further coherent features of microdroplet cavity.
