Abstract
Gea-Banacloche1 derived the Langevin and Fokker-Planck equations for this system and found that the phase-diffusion coefficient D could be reduced to one-half its nominal value of twice the Schawlow-Townes linewidth (δωST). This occurs for large squeezing and proper choice of the relative phase of the laser field and injected squeezing. This effect is interesting because its magnitude may be sizable, but it does not require squeezing the vacuum over a large solid angle.
