Abstract

Resonance Raman spectroscopy provides detailed information on the allyl-radical excited-state dynamics through examination of the intensities of the vibrational bands in the Raman spectra. In particular, the features of a resonance Raman spectrum yield insight into tire nature of excited-state vibronic coupling interactions, intensity in fundamentals of non-totally-symmetric vibrational bands in resonance Raman spectra is an indication of vibronic coupling.
