Abstract
The methods of nonlinesr laser spectroscopy allowed one to eliminate the influence of linear Doppler effect and to observe optical resonances with 1kHz homogeneous width. When obtaining very narrow lines in a gap with a relative width 10-12 and less, one should eliminate the inhomogeneous broadening and resonance shifte due to the second-order Doppler effect (SODE).
