Abstract

The generation of high power tunable coherent radiation at short wavelengths is a challenging problem In quantum electronics and laser physics. A variety of techniques are being investigated.1,2 Among these, the anti-Stokes Raman laser (ASRL) technique seems to be of special interest because of its great variety of possibilities and high frequency upconversion efficiency,3 which is limited by various factors.
