Detailed study of the upper level of the fluorine laser at 157.5 nm

Abstract

The fluorine laser, with a bandwidth of <1 cm−1 and demonstrated pulse energies to 100 mJ, is spectrally the brightest source available in the VUV. However, the laser transition is not well understood.
