Spectra of polyatomic molecular ions resonant enhanced multiphoton dissociation spectra

Abstract

The method of photodissociation by resonant enhanced multiphoton absorption combined with mass selective ion detection techniques allows, we believe for the first time, observation of well-resolved optical spectra of polyatomic molecular cations with nonfluorescing and nondissociating ionic states.
