Abstract

There is a long-standing interest in electronically excited BO that stems from the energetics of oxidation of boron fuels and from BO as a laser candidate.1 We report rates for BO A2π populations that are lost by radiative decay, collisional quenching, and also vibrational relaxation in BO A2π.
