Fundamental processes of quantum electrodynamics Investigated by the active microscopic optical cavity

Abstract

We report the recent results of several experiments involving the active microcavity and study of QED processes involving spontaneous and stimulated emission, anomalous phase transition, and zero threshold effects in laser action and optical parametric oscillation. The results of an investigation on the fundamental process of localization/delocalization of the photon are also reported.
