Femtosecond time-resolved luminescence spectroscopy of semiconductor microstructures

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We have developed a system for measuring time-resolved luminescence spectra of semiconductors with ≥60-fs time resolution. This technique provides a powerful means for investigating carrier relaxation, transport, and tunneling In semiconductors. We present some representative recent results on these topics.
