Simple Semi-analytical Approximate Method for Analysis of Nanophotonic Optical Waveguides

Abstract

We present the application of our semi-vectorial optimal variational method to the analysis of Si-slot waveguides and dielectric loaded surface plasmon polariton (DLSPP) waveguides. Results on optimization of design parameters are presented.
