Solid Etalon combined with Superluminescent Diode for Sensing of Multiple Gases Simultaneously

Abstract

Simultaneous measurement of CO2 and CH4 absorption characteristics using a Superluminescent diode with a solid etalon is proposed. The etalon based sensing system provides an opportunity to select absorption lines with a low resolution spectrometer.
