Abstract

A passively Q-switched Ytterbium-doped fiber laser (YDFL) was developed using molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)-based, saturable absorber (SA) which generates a pulse width of 7.37 μs at a pump power of 256.4 mW.
