Laser Produced Plasma Diagnosis for Classification of Optical Isomers

Abstract

We report the characteristic properties of the laser induced plasma of optical isomers (Enantiomers) in ambient atmosphere. Plasma temperature and electron density have been determined from the Boltzmann plot and Stark broadening measurements respectively. The emission follows the optical thin condition and Mc whirter criterion. Ratiometrics and multivariate approaches are employed to classify the isomers.
