Characteristic study on double U-bent Plastic optical fiber based Refractometer

Abstract

The present article discusses characteristic study on refractometer based on double U-bent plastic optical fiber. The sensor works on the phenomena of evanescent field absorption. The sensor has shown enhanced sensitivity than single U-bent fiber of similar radius.
