Surface plasmon mediated optoelectronic property tuning of ZnO nanorods for UV sensing

Abstract

A surface plasmon mediated enhancement (20 times) of UV photodetection at room temperature using Au coated ZnO nanorods have been reported. The results presented have immense potential for ZnO based optoelectronic devices.
