RBF Neural Network Nonlinear Equalizer for CO-OFDM system

Abstract

We propose radial basis function neural network to mitigate nonlinearities in CO OFDM systems. The proposed technique reduces nonlinear penalty by 4.5 dB for 80 Gbps 16-QAM transmission over 1000 km fiber.
