Design of Single mode Bismuth oxide fiber for generation of Slow light

Abstract

A theoretical design is proposed for single mode bismuth oxide fiber for slow light generation at 1550nm. A time delay of 104.45ns is obtained for maximum allowed pump power of976mW.
