Optimization of multi-modal 3-D super-resolution imaging using mode-specific nonlinear optical transduction of photonic nanostructures.

Abstract

Photonic nanomaterials were used to generate 3-D super-resolution nonlinear optical images. Ten-nanometer axial localization accuracy at two frames/second was routine. Mode-specific NLO signals enabled sub-diffraction localization in three dimensions.
