Surface plasmon assisted nonlinearity of corrugated gold grating structure

Abstract

We report on experiments on nonlinear optical remittances in corrugated gold gratings due to the coupling of surface plasmons. The nonlinearities are enhanced by resonant local electric field of the surface plasmons.
