Fluorescence enhancement in Tm-Yb-Ag codoped fiber by super-radiance

Abstract

Enhanced and low threshold fluorescence emission from Tm-Yb fiber is experimentally realized by incorporating silver nanocluster in the fiber core. The enhancement is possibly due to super radiance than conventional localized surface plasmon enhancement.
