Spontaneous Emission Enhancement of Quantum Dots by Plasmonic Nanoantenna Embedded in Sub-wavelength Photonic Templates

Abstract

Using two different formulations of a polymer based flexible deep sub-wavelength photonic templates we show how spontaneous emission in quantum dots can be tuned by loading the templates with weakly scattering, ultra-small plasmonic nanoantenna.
