Investigation of polymer composites using optical coherence tomography

Abstract

We characterize the highly scattering polymer composites using swept-source optical coherence tomography. The cross-sectional and volumetric images obtained clearly shows the microstructure of the material. Surface defects as well as thickness can be obtained.
