Large mode-area highly bent hybrid leakage channel fibers with low bending loss for high temperature conditions

Abstract

We present thermal effect on hybrid leakage channel fibers and achieved large-mode-area of ~1387 μm2, single-mode operation at very high temperature distribution of ~125°C over fiber geometry for a practical bending radius of 7.5 cm.
