Abstract

We propose hybrid photonic modes formed due to coupling between Tamm-modes and surface-plasmon polariton modes for accurate measurement of refractive indices. We found sensitivity ≥900 nm/RIU and detection accuracy ≈30 μm−1 for such sensing configuration.
