Multimodal characteristics of supercontinuum light generated in nonlinear photonic crystal fiber

Abstract

We report supercontinuum generation in nonlinear photonic crystal fiber, where first higher-order mode is excited in the visible part of the spectrum by selectively coupling pump light in normal dispersion regime.
