Studying Semiconductor Photonic Crystal Slabs for Near IR Photonic Bandgap

Abstract

Two dimensional semiconductor photonic crystal slabs were studied with square and triangular lattices geometry using plane wave method. The geometrical optimizations are made to achieve photonic band gap in near infra-red regions.
