Free-space Terahertz Transmission at 100 Gbit/s

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Lower-range THz carriers enable wireless transmission at bit rates of 24Gbit/s over 1.1km and 100Gbit/s over 40m. Photomixing of laser lines in an UTC photodiode generates high-quality carriers near 237GHz. MMIC-based receivers complete the system. Article not available.
