FBG based high pressure sensor using metal spring

Abstract

A simple and novel sensor for high pressure measurement using fiber Bragg grating (FBG) which is integrated with a metal spring is designed and demonstrated. Pressure sensitivity of the sensor is found to be 57.7 pm/bar.
