Implementation of All Optical NOR and OR Logic Gates using Asymmetric Triple Core PCF

Abstract

We present a novel asymmetric triple core photonic crystal fiber for the construction of NOR and OR logic gates by employing all optical control. Through extinction ratio calculated at apt control signal phase, the Boolean algebra for NOR and OR logic gates are demonstrated numerically.
