Excitation of surface plasmon resonance with radially sheared beam using birefringent lens

Abstract

Numerical and experimental investigations of SPR based radially sheared interference imaging using birefringent lens is demonstrated. Comparison of different metals and metal thickness optimization along with the application in nanoplasmonic sensing has been reported.
