Quantitative Phase imaging of Live Yeast cells using Digital Holographic Microscopy

Abstract

Addition of staining and contrast agents to living cells to improve the contrast, are not applicable to live cell image as they are toxic. We demonstrate a quantitative phase imaging of live yeast cells without any staining agents using digital holographic microscope.
