Frequency-shift free MSSI for dispersion compensation of advanced modulation formats using dual pump bidirectional FWM

Abstract

We propose and numerically study frequency-shift free MSSI using fiber OPC for dispersion compensation. Simulation of 20Gbps QPSK data over 320km fiber shows complete dispersion compensation and 108 BER at 25dB transmit OSNR.
