Optimization of Frequency-doubling of High Power, High Repetition Rate, Femtosecond Fiber Laser in “Thick” Nonlinear Crystal

Abstract

We experimentally verified that Boyd and Kleinman’s theory for optimum frequency-doubling of cw and long-pulsed lasers is also valid for frequency-doubling of ultrafast laser in thick nonlinear crystal in presence of both birefringence and GVM.
