Theoretical modelling of lossy mode resonance (LMR) based fiber optic temperature sensor utilizing TiO2 sensing layer

Abstract

Theoretical results for TiO2 coated LMR fiber optic temperature sensor with advantages over surface plasmon resonance (SPR) based sensors are presented. Enhancement of sensitivity over SPR based fiber optic temperature sensor is reported.
