Fiber Optic Chlorine Sensor Utilizing Surface Plasmon Resonance of Ag/ZnO/PVP thin films

Abstract

We report a surface plasmon resonance based fiber optic sensing of chlorine in water using Ag/ZnO/PVP films. Spectral interrogation method is needed to characterize the sensor. Red shift in the resonance wavelength has been observed.
