Polarized and un-polarized spectral characteristics of 3D polystyrene colloidal photonic crystals

Abstract

The spectral characteristics of (111) stop band of 3D polystyrene colloidal photonic crystals with s-, p- and un-polarized light in the reflection geometry were carried out and compared with the calculated band diagrams using plane wave expansion method.
